Katelynn Mathews, Class of 2027 from Fullerton High School, is one of the original Code Red girls from the very beginning. She has grown into a dedicated, hard-working athlete with a true love for the game. Her positive spirit, relentless work ethic, and leadership have been evident since day one. We are so proud to celebrate her commitment to continue both her education and softball career at California Baptist University.
Hailey Marez, a 2026 graduate of South Hills High School, has built her game through determination, resilience, and a steady drive to improve every time she steps in the circle. As part of the Code Red family, she has continued to grow as both an athlete and a leader. We are proud of Hailey’s journey and excited to see her continue her education and softball career at Albertus Magnus College in Connecticut.
Alexis Perez, a 2025 graduate of Sunny Hills High School, has grown into a confident and competitive pitcher, leading with grit and composure in the circle. As a member of the Code Red family, she has shown determination, focus, and steady growth in her game. We are proud of her accomplishments and can’t wait to see her continue her education and softball career at San Francisco State University.
Amelia Burns, a 2024 graduate of Fullerton High School, was recognized not only for her talent on the mound but also for her outstanding academic achievements, graduating at the top of her class. As a Code Red pitcher, Amelia has demonstrated discipline, leadership, and a true passion for the game. We are so proud of her accomplishments and excited to watch her continue her education and softball career at St. Olaf College in Minnesota.
Mikaela Perez, a 2020 graduate of Diamond Ranch High School, continued her academic and athletic career at Alfred University in New York. As a Code Red pitcher, Mikaela showed resilience, commitment, and a true love for the game. We are so proud of her accomplishments and excited to see everything she achieves at the collegiate level and beyond.
Alexia Silvas, a 2018 graduate of Fullerton High School. She began her collegiate career at Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. Sac). Becoming a standout pitcher and proving herself at the next level. Her perseverance and determination paid off when she earned the offer she had been waiting for from Cal State Fullerton. Alexia has always held a special place in the Code Red family, and we couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishments and bright future ahead.
Christen Hansen, a 2018 graduate of Cypress High School, officially signed her letter of intent to continue her education and softball career at Mount Saint Mary College. A dedicated Code Red pitcher, Christen has always exemplified hard work, perseverance, and faith in her journey. We are incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished and can’t wait to see her continue to grow and succeed at the next level.
Taylor Barraza, a 2018 graduate of Sunny Hills High School, signed her letter of intent to continue her education and softball career at Georgian Court University in New Jersey. As a Code Red pitcher, Taylor showed grit, determination, and a relentless drive to improve. We are incredibly proud of her journey and can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes at the collegiate level and beyond.
